Robert Gabriel Mugabe, to his growing number of critics, this highly educated, wily politician became the caricature of an African dictator, who destroyed an entire country in order to keep his job. But to some, he will always remain a hero who brought independence and an end to white-minority rule.-BBC NEWS.
Upcoming poet and writer Brendon Takudzwa Munemo as penned a poem dedicated to the late Former President Comrade RG Mugabe. In an interview with Lifestyle Magazine Brendon said “Personally I was a big fan of RG, I admired his way of doing things and the fact that he was not afraid of white people. Being a man of dignity and gave hope to the son of the soil made me want to honour him.
Brendon who is mostly known by his peers as Bray.zw is 18 years, and currently doing his Advanced level studies at Bradley High School. He started writing early this year 2019 after his addiction to reading. “I figured out that I would express my feeling better on a piece of paper than telling anyone else” said the young poet. “At first I would write things that bothered me and it was all negative energy until Alice Tariro Madziwa showed me the way” he added
Bray.Zw credits Alice so much for inspiring and encouraging him as well as his family for always supporting him. “Poetry just make me feel happy when I feel depressed and I believe we should never ever neglect our God given talents so this is what motivates me to keep going”.- Bray.Zw
